father's day
i cringe at the words.
today is the first father’s day since my mom left.
it wasn’t as bad as previous years since i didn’t have to look at the asshole’s face and listen to the comments and dread in the torture.
i’m trying to keep it positive though. today is another milestone of escaping abuse. one step at a time we’ll heal i guess.
